Prof. S. Sadagopan served as the Director of IIIT Bangalore from 1999 to 2021. His research interests include Operations Research, Decision Theory, Databases, and e-Governance. Dr. B V Phani
Prof. B. V. Phani is the Dean of Resources & Alumni and Associate Dean of Innovation & Incubation at IIT Kanpur. He holds a Ph.D. from IIM Calcutta and specializes in finance, corporate governance, and credit risk. He leads the SIDBI Innovation & Incubation Centre, supporting entrepreneurial initiatives and startups. A committed academic and mentor, he actively contributes to shaping India’s innovation ecosystem.
Dr. R S Sharma
Ram Sewak Sharma is a retired civil servant who has played a key role in shaping India’s digital landscape. Currently, he teaches Technology and Policy at IIT Kanpur and serves as the Chairperson of ONDC. He has held several important positions, including CEO of the National Health Authority, Chairman of TRAI, and the first Director General of UIDAI, where he was instrumental in building Aadhaar. His contributions have earned him several prestigious awards, including the Voice & Data Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022.
Dr. Naveen C
Professor Naveen Chilamkurti is a cybersecurity and computer networks expert at La Trobe University, serving as Associate Dean for International Partnerships. He leads the Cybersecurity Discipline and directs the La Trobe Cybersecurity Research Hub. His research spans IoT, wireless and sensor networks, and multimedia computing. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science, he drives innovation in secure digital systems.
Soumya Kanti Ghosh (SBI CEA & FC Member)
Dr. Soumya Kanti Ghosh is the Group Chief Economic Advisor at SBI and a member of the 16th Finance Commission. He has held key roles at Tata AIA, American Express, and ICRA, shaping major economic policies. He chairs the Indian Banks’ Association’s Economist Group and serves on several advisory bodies. A Ph.D. from JNU, he’s been recognized among India’s top researchers by The Asset magazine for six consecutive years.
Dr. Rishikesha Krishnan
Professor Krishnan is a renowned expert in strategy and innovation, holding the Jamuna Raghavan Chair in Entrepreneurship at IIM Bangalore. He has served as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania and ISB Hyderabad. With over 200 publications, his books From Jugaad to Systematic Innovation and 8 Steps to Innovation have made a lasting impact, with the latter winning the Best Book Award in 2013-14. His contributions have enriched the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship, making him a respected thought leader.
Dr. Raghava Rao M
Professor Raghava Mukkamala is an expert in data science and cybersecurity at Copenhagen Business School, where he leads the Master’s in Data Science program. His research focuses on AI-driven solutions for issues like misinformation, hate speech, and cybersecurity. With a Ph.D. in Theoretical Computer Science, he collaborates with the UNHCR to detect bias against refugees. Combining academic knowledge and industry experience, he shapes the future of tech-driven problem-solving
Shantanu Dutta
Professor Shantanu Dutta is a Finance faculty and Ian Telfer Fellow in Global Finance at the Telfer School of Management. His research spans machine learning, NLP in finance, corporate governance, M&As, and market efficiency. He has published in top journals and received prestigious awards, including the SSHRC grant and Barclays Global Investors Canada Research Award. With prior industry and global teaching experience, he teaches across undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. programs.
Dr. Vinay Pathak
Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak is the Vice Chancellor of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, and the President of the Association of Indian Universities. With over 28 years of experience, he has served as Vice Chancellor at AKTU, UOU, and VMOU. He holds a B.Tech from HBTI Kanpur, an M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science. Prof. Pathak has guided eight Ph.D. scholars and received awards such as the Global e-Learning Award and the Humanitarian Award.
Mr. Dilip Asbe
Dilip Asbe is the Managing Director and CEO of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) since 2018. He has played a key role in the development of payment platforms such as UPI, IMPS, AePS, and RuPay. Under his leadership, NPCI processes over 18 billion transactions monthly and has expanded globally through subsidiaries like NIPL, NBBL, and NBSL. Mr. Asbe, a graduate of the London School of Economics and Harvard Business School, has received multiple accolades, including the 'Changemaker of the Year' award.
