Mentors
The Mentor Board consists of primarily consists of faculty members from IIT Kanpur. In addition the Mentor board consists of faculty members from other IITs, NITs, E&ICT Academies, and faculty from Institutes of national eminence, along with Industry professionals, who provide mentorship in their areas of expertise. They guide curriculum development, mentor students and startups, and contribute to research and training initiatives.

Dr. Suvendu Naskar, PhD (IIM Calcutta)
Assistant Professor, Department of Management Sciences
Dr. Suvendu Naskar is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management Sciences, IIT Kanpur, since January 2023. He specializes in analytics, decision sciences, cybersecurity, operations, and emerging technologies. He holds a Ph.D. from IIM Calcutta, an MBA from IIM Kozhikode, and a BE from Jadavpur University. With 11+ years of industry experience, he actively mentors startups and contributes to research and executive education.

Dr. Suvendu Naskar is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management Sciences, IIT Kanpur, since January 2023. Dr. Abhinava Tripathi, PhD (IIM Lucknow)
Assistant Professor, Department of Management Sciences
Dr. Abhinava Tripathi, Faculty of Finance and Accounting at IIT Kanpur, holds a Ph.D. from IIM Lucknow, an MBA from IIM Kozhikode, and a B.Tech. from IIT Roorkee. With 10+ years of industry and academic experience, he has worked in financial consulting, investment banking, corporate banking, and credit rating. His research focuses on market microstructure, efficiency, and liquidity in global financial markets. He has published in reputed journals such as Energy Economics, Australian Journal of Management, and Finance Research Letters.

Dr. Jitender Kumar, PhD (IIT Roorkee)
Assistant Professor, Department of Management Sciences
Dr. Jitender Kumar, Assistant Professor at the Department of Management Sciences, IIT Kanpur, specializes in Marketing with research interests in Brand Management, Consumer Psychology, and Brand Communities. He holds a Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee (2019), an MBA from FMS-BHU (2012), and a B.Tech. from NIT Hamirpur (2009). His research on psychological ownership and brand communities has been published in journals like the Journal of Business Research.

Dr. Mousami Prasad, PhD (IIT Bombay)
Assistant Professor, Department of Management Sciences
ICEDS, ANU Canberra, specializes in energy and climate change, focusing on solar, green steel, ethanol, green hydrogen, and climate finance. She holds a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay, where her thesis on Indian industries' environmental performance earned the "Excellence in Thesis" award. Previously based at ANU, her research is published in leading international journals. At IIT Kanpur, she teaches Climate Change Economics, Sustainable Development for Businesses, and 'Economics and Energy Policy'.

Dr. Shubham Sahay, PhD (IIT Delhi)
Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering
Dr. Shubham Sahay, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kanpur, specializing in solid-state logic and memory devices, neuromorphic computing, and hardware security, his research focuses on hardware platforms for neuromorphic computing, security primitives, novel device architectures, and non-volatile memories. He earned his Ph.D. from IIT Delhi (2018) and B.Tech. from IIT BHU (2014), receiving multiple gold medals for academic excellence. His teaching areas include memory technology, digital electronics, and microelectronics. Recognized as a golden reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices (2017–2020).

Prof. Subhajit Roy, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Kanpur, PhD from IISc (2010) with specialization in Programming Languages and Compilers. Research interests include Formal Methods, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, and Programming Languages. Currently working on projects integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with formal tools for building reliable systems. Recently taught CS335: Compiler Design.
